Successful full-arch implant rehabilitations require more than prosthetic precision and osseointegration; long-term clinical and aesthetic success depends fundamentally on establishing healthy peri-implant soft tissues. This hands-on workshop is designed to equip clinicians with actionable surgical techniques, decision-making algorithms, and practical clinical skills for managing soft tissues across diverse full-arch scenarios.

Participants will explore key indications, surgical anatomy, and detailed step-by-step protocols for vital soft-tissue augmentation procedures, including free gingival grafts (FGG), connective tissue grafts (CTG), apically positioned flaps (APF), and the vascularized interpositional periosteal connective tissue flap (VIP-CT). The workshop will provide in-depth training on the optimal timing and sequencing of soft-tissue interventions relative to implant placement, provisionalization, and final prosthetic loading.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the indication and selection criteria for soft-tissue augmentation techniques in full-arch restorations.
  • Discuss step-by-step surgical protocols for achieving predictable soft-tissue outcomes and optimizing peri-implant health esthetics.
  • Identify, prevent and manage soft-tissue complications.
