Core Curriculum Overview

This two-day, hands-on course is designed as a clinician’s first step into the world of full-arch implant rehabilitation. From overdentures to fixed solutions, participants will gain the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to confidently plan and execute their first full-arch cases.

Day one focuses on patient selection, anatomy, risk assessment, and communication—laying the groundwork for sound clinical decisions. Students will learn when to extract, how to obtain baseline digital records, and how to approach treatment planning through the lens of restorative space, smile line, and occlusal parameters. The afternoon sessions explore surgical and prosthetic principles for overdentures, including implant positioning, soft tissue handling, and attachment selection.

Day two transitions into fixed prosthetic solutions for patients with favorable bone, addressing material choices, prosthetic design, and the full clinical workflow—from surgery to final restoration. A strong emphasis is placed on practical steps, common pitfalls, and long-term maintenance strategies for both removable and fixed solutions.

The course concludes with an extensive hands-on workshop using models to practice implant placement, prosthetic protocols, and provisionalization techniques. At the conclusion of this course, students will be equipped with the core knowledge and confidence to begin offering full-arch implant options within their practice.

This is a absolute must-have course that is ideal for early-career implant dentists ready to expand their scope, and connects to our more intermediate/advanced Foundational Full Arch Therapy Demystified: All on XYZ™ - Level 1.
