Dr. Roman Mirochnik is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and Chief of Orthofacial Services at Padeh–Baruch Medical Center in Israel. He leads the department’s advanced orthognathic and craniofacial surgery program and heads the hospital’s 3D surgical laboratory. His clinical expertise spans complex facial reconstruction, full-arch implant rehabilitation, and zygomatic and pterygoid implantology — with a focus on immediate loading and digitally guided techniques.
Graduating summa cum laude from the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Dr. Mirochnik completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Poriya Medical Center, followed by an advanced fellowship in orthognathic surgery at AZ Monica Campus and UZA Antwerp University Hospital in Belgium.
Over the past decade, Dr. Mirochnik has become a recognized international lecturer and key opinion leader in the field of zygomatic implantology and digital reconstructive surgery. He has presented at major congresses, and serves as an instructor in cadaver-based advanced zygomatic and pterygoid implant courses across Europe.
His research and publications focus on orthognathic surgery, infection management, and surgical innovations in implantology. He is the author and co-author of numerous peer-reviewed papers in IJOMS, BJOMS, JOMS, Quintessence International, etc.
Dr. Mirochnik combines surgical precision with are constructive and aesthetic vision — restoring function, symmetry, and confidence to patients with severe atrophy, trauma, or congenital deformities.
