Dr. Jason Stoner thinks dentistry is the best field in the world-dentistry is a profession that allows for one to completely create one’s own schedule, run a successful business that provides a great income, lead phenomenal teams that share a common passion and culture bounded by strong core values, and one that sets a high professional standard of care firmly rooted in academia in the surrounding community for the great benefit of colleagues and patients alike.  Dr. Stoner has always had his own vision for dentistry, an ongoing process carefully honed and focused on throughout 22 years of private dental practice.

Following dental school, Certification in Periodontology, and a Master’s of Science Degree in Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine all at The Ohio State College of Dentistry, Dr. Stoner started what has proven to be a very successful fee-for-service practice.  Driven by a passion for how dentistry can save and truly enhance patient’s lives, he set out into the dental community determined to actively participate in growing and promoting hardworking dentists, and dentistry as a whole, in the community with a goal of helping to create an exceptional quality of life for dental teams and patients alike.  Dr. Stoner has exercised this passion and vision through many dental organizations by serving as a Director of a 17 year Seattle Study Club, Director of a Spear Study Club, Co-Director of the North American Society of Periodontists, Co-Director of Tumbleweed Periodontal Study Club, Co-Developer of Referral Lab Software, directorships of numerous local study clubs for dentistry and business alike, and has been recognized by numerous local and national organizations by businesses and professional colleagues  as a key opinion leader in and out of the field of dentistry.  Dr. Stoner has grown his business to currently include six highly successful practices throughout the Central Ohio area.

Dr. Stoner has always been dedicated to excellence-from incorporating high quality, non-invasive state-of the-art therapies to his patients, to a razor-sharp focus on high quality work and efficiency through technologies in the business space.  Creating a high quality of life for the hardworking people in the field of dentistry, and for those patients that benefit from it, is the passionate goal that Dr. Stoner strives for on a daily basis.  Dr. Stoner believes that by expanding and incorporating key business concepts that encompass the entire dental practice model, today’s dental leader can find true success, freedom and quality of life.

Dr. Jason Souyias started his education in the business of dentistry through the school of hard knocks when his first practice failed. But thanks to an incredible mentor, Dr. Mark Setter, Jason took a hard look in the mirror and realized he was the reason that he only had 30% case acceptance rate.

Since then, he has dedicated his career to overcoming early mistakes and now runs a thriving, successful periodontal practice in Port Huron, Michigan. In 2021, he had an 87% case acceptance rate with an average case value of $4,465. The teachings of Dr. Setter shine through all the systems and philosophies of his practice today. By making evidence-based business decisions, he has been able to grow his practice to nearly double what it was when he first took it over.

Dr. Souyias loves sharing practical best business practices that can be used daily in any practice to help make it more successful and he is most passionate about sharing case acceptance techniques.
